Search Engine Marketing Manager – Barcelona

The company

Our client is a young and very innovative advertising network, open to advertisers and publishers Worldwide and their areas of expertise include monetization of search traffic through targeted text ads, banner ads and full-management services for high traffic web sites. The ad serving platform is entirely proprietary, providing the flexibility and reliability for the fast growth that the company is experiencing.

The Position

You will be responsible for a portfolio of medium to large advertisers and take care of the creation, management and optimization of online campaigns on Google Adwords.  You will be in direct contact with the advertisers and make sure to reach their goals in terms of ROI, volume and monthly budget. You will generate statistical and financial reports for your clients and your management. Your responsibilities will include the strategy to increase your clients monthly spending on Adwords and the prospecting of new advertisers as well.  You will have precise revenue goals and need to use all the resources at your disposal to reach these goals and grow the revenue generated by your portfolio of advertisers.

Daily tasks include:

  • Creation of campaigns.
  • Number analysis
  • Monitoring and optimization of active campaigns.
  • Management of biddings, targeting and placements.
  • Editing keywords, ad text, organizing groups.
  • Clients follow up by phone and email.
  • Prospecting of new advertisers.
  • Reporting to the management.

  • Reach the ROI goals of your clients
  • Ensure a continuing relationship with your clients
  • Grow the total revenue generated by your portfolio of clients
  • Negociation of long-term agreements
  • Creation of a SEM department under your responsibility

  • Ability to manage multiple Adwords client accounts
  • Ability to manage large advertising budgets

Requirements

  • 2+ years minimum work experience as a traffic manager
  • Google Advertising qualified member (Google Advertising Professional)
  • You must have run several successful advertising campaigns in the past
  • Advanced use of Excel, formulas, macros etc
  • Good knowledge of HTML, javascript tags, conversion trackers, analytic tools
  • Good knowledge in SEO, website and landing pages optimizations
  • Languages: Fluent English, French and Spanish
