Marketing / CRM Manager France – Paris

The Role

Working within the marketing department and reporting into the ‘Customer Base Manager Europe’, you will be responsible for increasing customer retention and sales by developing tailored, online marketing activities.

In charge of the “store” for existing customers, you will develop, implement and manage all communications and promotional activities, identifying the best strategies working in cooperation with the Product department.   This involves monitoring of sales results and deep-dives into areas requiring specific investigation, with a view to plan or refine marketing actions based on actual performance.

Professional Background

You will have:

  • Demonstrable expertise in data analysis and customer segmentation, effective at capturing insights.
  • Experience in creating online questionnaires, aimed at identifying customer needs.
  • 3 – 4 years experience in operational marketing, preferably in the online / internet sector, plus first-hand experience of:
    • Monitoring and guaranteeing positive ROI in accordance with marketing activities.
  • Excellent spoken and written communications skills, with particular expertise in online communications.
  • Email marketing including copywriting.
  • Development and management of a range of promotional activities focused on specific customer segments and products.

Essential Requirements

In addition to the above, you must also demonstrate knowledge, expertise or a real aptitude in the following areas:

  • Passion for the Internet, with the desire to experiment and innovate.
  • Customer analysis focused, with the ability to gear communication style and offers toward specific customer segments.
  • Ability to monitor competitors’ marketing strategies and plan activities that address them.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills:  Expert in Excel and Access. 
  • Proven analytical skills.  Experienced in CRM and driving marketing activities based on sound analysis of .e.g campaign performance, able to forecast impact of planned activities on customers (sales increase; decrease; retention, churn).
  • A team player: Highly flexible and able to work in a team for the creation and implementation of online campaigns.
  • Ability and interest in working in International and multicultural teams, in a fast-paced environment, to tight deadlines.
  • Fluent spoken and written French and English.
