The Role
The Company is currently seeking Java J2EE Infrastructure Architects to join the Barcelona-based Architecture team, and is keen to meet Java professionals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in J2EE projects. Candidates should be looking to build their career path through hands-on involvement in the architecture of technologically complex and innovative projects in a range of diverse business sectors.

The Candidate
Basic Requirements:
- Computer Science Degree
- A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience
- Skills in administration, configuration, deployment and tuning of Java Enterprise Edition application servers: JBoss AS, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Weblogic, Tomcat, etc.
Addition desirable skills in:
- Technical monitoring concepts: JVM measurement indicators, garbage collection practices, response times, etc.
- Tools for bottleneck detection
- Clustering, load-balancing (e.g. integration with Apache), high availability
- Messaging systems (MQ), databases, application development tools (e.g. Subversion)
- Unix operating systems (Linux, AIX, etc.), shell scripting.
