Online Marketing Manager – Milan
A leading International Online Retailer is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and deliver focused marketing plans and solutions across Italy, while liaising with other markets.
SUMMARY
Reporting into the Marketing Director and leading a core team, with full budgetary responsibility, the objective is to drive traffic maximizing ROI across Email, Paid Search, SEO, Affiliate Marketing and other activities as appropriate, including PR, offline etc. Ultimately this role will create, own and deliver the online marketing plan, ensuring it is communicated across teams and markets.
This requires experience of working in an online B2C environment and a track record of working closely with product marketing teams. It also requires strategic vision and a hands-on and process driven focus, excellent influencing and communication skills, and the ability to manage people, budgets and multiple campaigns. Strategic and analytical, you must be able to work across teams and enhance the core marketing plans, using internal research and external 3rd party suppliers. Plus, direct the development of our client’s market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), and select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure maximum efficiency.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- At least 5+ years in an e-commerce environment, with sound knowledge /working experience of the Travel Sector.
- Knowledge of Google Tools & Products: Analytics, Adwords Editor, Conversion Tracking, Website Optimizer, Local Business Ads.
Specialist / Technical Knowledge, Skills & Aptitude:
- 4-6+ years of channel-specific marketing experience (Affiliate, PPC, Paid Search, Email Marketing, CRM…)
- Significant experience in online Acquisition Marketing and SEO.
- Data-driven and results-oriented, with a test-before-invest mentality: Highly analytical and detail orientated.
- Excellent management, communication and presentation skills, able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Very strong project management skills, able to manage people, multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with high energy and drive.
- Proven track record in setting and achieving quantifiable marketing objectives.
- Self-motivated, able to work both independently while also being a team player.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in both Italian and English; willing to travel within Europe as required.
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Communications, Marketing or relevant field.
Desirable:
- Experience of woking in a Search Company or Online Agency.
- Knowledge of another language i.e. Spanish.
