Product Manager Web & Mobile Apps – Barcelona

The Client

Our client is a fast-growing and profitable international online media group with a total portfolio comprising operations in mature markets in Western Europe and in growing markets such as Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. With a current global workforce of around 1400 employees, the Company enjoys an envied position as one of the prime movers in customer-focussed international online media products.

The Role

With a primary focus on mobile platforms, the Product Manager will lead the design, development and marketing of new customer-interactive products at Group level.

For both web and mobile platforms, the Product Manager will

• Establish goals and descriptions of the features of the site all stages of delivery and interfacing with the team technical development

• Be the link between developers, product managers and customer support teams even among teams on located in different Countries

• Collaborate with the Hub Senior Analyst to identify product optimization levers (web and mobile)

• Collaborate with internal Hub and local teams (and potentially external partners) to assist with design, planning and execution of product improvement initiatives (web and mobile)

• Ensure that best practices in product and decision-making are being exposed to the BU management and core websites decision makers.

• Define, plan and lead the execution of market research and mystery shopping

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree

• Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan

• Experience of at least 5 years in of medium / high level online companies, in marketing and project management roles

• Passion for the development of websites and continuous drive to improve status quo

• Demonstrated experience in developing mobile applications subsequently released on app store

• Demonstrated excellence in project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources

• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills
