SEM Manager (native French) – Barcelona
The Client
Our client operates one of the largest online industrial directories in Europe and Latin America covering thousands of categories ranging from logistics and warehousing to packaging, transportation, and labelling. The Company currently has sites in Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.
The Role
The Company is looking for an experienced Search Engine Marketing Manager for the Barcelona-based Marketing department. The role will entail:
• Daily Pay per Click (PPP) campaign management for the Company and all of its websites.
• Creation and continual testing of ad copy.
• Keyword and search query analysis.
• Collaboration with local and regional sales managers to optimize PPC budgets based on sales priorities and local market conditions.
• Continuous search for and analysis of opportunities for improvement – staying on top of the latest evolutions in search marketing, PPC tools, Ad Words, and search algorithms.
• Offering actionable recommendations for improvement and being an active participant in obtaining optimal business results.
• Providing necessary reporting for other teams within the organization.
• Increasing conversions and ROI for PPC campaigns.
The Candidate
Educated to University Graduate level, and with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, candidates will need to be proactive, analytical, and results-oriented and in addition to native French and fluent English skills, should
• Demonstrate experience managing PPC campaigns using tools and APIs from Google AdWords, Google Analytics, etc.
• Have experience in statistical analysis and comfortable working with large volumes of data and information.
• Be accustomed to fact-based and data-driving decision making.
• Be an advanced (we prefer ninja-level) user of Excel.
• Be comfortable working in a team.
• Have knowledge of online advertising and marketing market and common practices.
Native French and must also have a very high level of English (spoken & written) and will be expected to conduct professional telephone conversations in English in the role. Applicants will undergo a proficiency test in English.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
• Previous experience working with the tools for Bing AdCenter
• Certification as a Google Advertising Professional or previous work experience in an SEM agency.
• Knowledge of additional European languages: (German, Italian, Spanish, etc.).
