Software Developer (.NET) – Madrid

The Role

The Company has ambitious growth targets that require further innovation and technological (IT) capabilities. In the Software Developer role you will be at the heart of this growth process.

Your responsibilities will include

• Defining, developing, testing, analyzing, supporting and maintaining software applications including designing, coding, testing and documenting new and existing applications and programs.

• Providing on-going support, troubleshooting and maintaining the applications and programs by investigating, resolving and recommending improvements.

• Working closely with end-users and/or business units to determine business requirements for software applications and programs.

The Candidate

Candidates should be fluent in English and have an educational background in a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience, and

• 5+ years designing and building successful .NET applications.

• Experience with .NET architecture (ASP.NET, MVC)

• Strong working knowledge of XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with SQL Server 2005 & 2008

The Company will be especially interested in meeting candidates with experience in Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SES, CloudFront).
